All tears will be wiped away, the lion will lay down with the lamb, scales will be made honest, the faithful will receive brand new super-bodies, evil and vexation suffered by those that wish to righteous and the oppressed and the poor and the sick will be eradicated once and for all, and the wicked will be judged for all to see.
Call me a party pooper but I don’t know what Bible Joel Osteen was reading when he wrote his best seller (no surprise that – tell people what their itching ears want to hear and you will be an overnight smash) but my best life will most definitely be the next one, and whilst there is work to do here that must be done, I can hardly wait to get there, so I don’t have to put up with the nonsense spouted by all these prosperity teachers,
I really hope they don’t ruin the real party when/if I get to the heavenly gates and someone in a Armani suit hands me a paperback book; ‘Your Best Life Now – Revised Version’.
