There is a new thing being banded about these days (actually it’s very old but it sounds new to young people who are unaware of the wiles of politicians) that young people are being spun by the powers that be who unknown to them, want to take as much power off them – and it’s the idea that patriotism is bad. It’s the idea that looking after, protecting and caring about your country and the people in is ungodly and selfish.
Did you know that the very definition of love is not to like – as Facebook might have you believe – but it’s to nurture and provide for something or someone. So if you are a patriot you are saying that you want to protect, nurture and care for and if necessary defend the people in your country – your brothers and sisters.
Where does this idea ‘patriotism is bad’ come from?
Of course the line being spun, and it’s quite successful and yet it was predicted in The Bible, is that the only answer to the world’s problems is to bring everything and everyone under one system, one monetary system, one army, one health organisation, one government and ultimately – and this is where anyone that thinks this is a good idea needs to think VERY carefully… ONE governor!
This idea is fine… until, a corrupt person is handed complete and total power over that system – the system that is already largely in place that can track every human action and in the not too distant future – every thought. Then young people who signed up to this enthusiastically, you’ve basically along with the rest of the human race – had it – and lost your birthright for freedom – forever! there is no going back should a dictator ever get control of this system. Just look at North Korea for just a shadow of how America could look in 30 years if someone doesn’t safeguard against this and start re-calling politicians to account.
Ask why a fence was put up BEFORE you take it down!
The ‘fence’ here is the U.S Constitution – an amazing document. And so, the founding fathers of America who knew this made very sure that to much power could never be concentrated in too few hands. It was called the American Constitution. This US constitution, has enabled America to be most successful, the most envied, the most peaceful and the most loved and greatest nation that has ever existed (I am British by the way).
So young people… be very careful before you swallow the line that being a patriot is somehow bad. What man is a good man that would not look after and defend his family from enemies and despots and thieves? And this no less applies to countries.
