Eh? How so? Well, first reason; did you EVER meet one person in your life – just one – that you thought was deceived, but that also agreed with you they were deceived? Of course not! Because anyone that is deceived is not going to admit it are they? What about you, do you ever remember a time when you were deceived but you knew at the time? Of course not – it’s a daft question I’m asking to make the point.
But here’s the main reason we know that the AntiChrist will actually think he’s doing God’s work – apart from the fact that The Bible tells us that the enemies of God will believe they are doing God’s will (and always have done in fact). The reason we know for a fact that the AntiChrist – whoever that turns out to be, and in fact anyone that opposes God and Christ will be deceived, is because that is the nature of deception.

What do I mean? Well, a person that is opposed to God must be deceived right? Otherwise they would not be opposed to Him. So that’s it; deception is deception, and if you are deceived you will NOT know it period! That is quite scary, and at least food for thought for all of us – believers included. Why?.. because the Bible also says that God himself (and righteously) sends strong delusion to those that so not love truth!
Ahh, but how can one know what the truth is? Ahem – The Bible didn’t say delusion was sent to those that managed to discern which doctrine was right or wrong – in other words what ‘the’ truth was – though that will become easier or harder depending on how much you love truth, it says; delusion was sent to those that did not love truth (no ‘the’). In plain words, you have to love and seek truth not THE truth, and to those that do God will spare delusion!
Watch out – seek truth and not loopholes in The Bible that suit your lifestyle and God promises The Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth – all you have to do is love it and not love lies!
