Tares are a weed that look like wheat, but they produce nothing of any use – no fruit. So we see Jesus telling us that the tares cannot be pulled up and burned before it’s time is due, as the wheat is often entwined with the weeds so tightly that even if the wheat wanted to, it would not be able to untangle itself from the tares.
Only God and his angles can untangle the mess. It is not for humans to do this as we are often unable to distinguish – so used to taking outward appearance as truth – who is and isn’t a child of the kingdom – not who is good and who isn’t – as we already know from The Bible, there is none good but God, but who really loves God, is willing to humble themselves and submit to His will, and wants His guiding hand in their walk and who doesn’t want God interfering in their lives. Derek Prince explains this principle beautifully below. The Bible verse is here.
