Whoo… scary! Yep – they’re at it again – hacking away and demanding unfathomable amounts of money from unsuspecting respectable companies and organisations – and they have Russian accents! Well in that case we better ban all crypto currencies – as they are clearly unsafe – and who would want to use a flakey currency that wasn’t created and promoted by the trustworthy government and their friends at the central banks?
In that case the central banks and their buddies in government were right all along! We can’t trust our money in these here today – hacked tomorrow cryptocurrencies put together by students in their basements! Hmm – wait a minute – didn’t THEY tell us they were developing their own crypto currencies – just like we told you they would years ago? Cool! Far better to trust their central banks who have our best interests at heart with their stickly old programmers and businessmen still trying to figure out how blockchain works.
