Here is why we should be scared when it comes to voters voting for who and what they think they are voting for – after they have been influenced by the media spin doctors. It’s the crooked politicians’ dream and why it is so easy for modern day politicians to influence, spin and even get away with completely falsifying what they actually stand for and still get voted in.
And this is no jibe at Obama (though I believe he has been a very bad president for a number of reasons I won’t get into) but a scary insight into how little people really know and how much they think they actually know. And before I get too big for my boots I am just as guilty as anyone else in this and encourage anyone thinking of voting not just to listen to what the PR companies are spinning about a particular candidate – or what their enemies are saying – but what they themselves are saying or have said – and this may require some digging.
Watch how the PR companies are able to completely reverse the public’s perception and so-called ‘knowledge’ on particular candidates’ lives, policies, lifestyles and statements
What is interesting is that many many times we see a candidate categorically say “x” only to flip to “y” and back and forth according to how they are doing in the polls. It’s a cynical thing but unfortunately true that most modern day politicians feel they need to do this spineless flip-flopping to get elected and they are probably right in that sense – but not morally of course. I imagine this is why people sensing this is happening more than it should, are flocking to someone like Donald Trump, as for the first time in a long time we see someone (ignoring his integrity in other areas for a minute) does not need to flip-flop or pander to any-one, any donor or any business group.
