The forefathers, having come out of the tranny of England put it off limits to make any law against the free exercise of religion for this very reason!
Kim Davis upheld the constitutional law of the state she worked in that says marriage is between one man and one woman. Until that law is changed, not only has she not broken the law – she was put in prison for upholding it. Besides that, Christians are to uphold the law of man – unless it specifically goes against the law of God. But let’s no mistake – that does not apply here until the state law is changed.
Bordering on judicial tyranny
In some senses the Kim Davies issue should not even come to this, since it’s not the job of five unelected lawyers to be the rulers of 320 million Americans and to claim illegitimately the power to strike down the marriage laws of all fifty states – that is law-less!
