Will God do this in the way we think it could be done with ourselves, in a kind of suppressive way where we push things to the back of our minds or think about our favourite ice-cream instead?
Nope. I’m certain when God says; “I will remember your sins no more” He really means in a much more profound way than when we think about memory. That these sins will be super-naturally wiped from the cosmic history books where everything is recorded – probably in a digital recorder-like (perfectly accurate) way. And perhaps even wiped from the cosmos entirely – as if the really did – never happen – and no one else can recall them either.
If that is the case – it’s an incredible offer since I’m sure we all have sins we wish could be dealt with once and for all.
