Is Facebook the Devil’s greatest invention, and the world’s biggest waste of time known to man – and of our most precious gift to use to serve others whist on this earth – time?
Yep it’s that simple – when he knows he can’t shake your faith in God and His son Jesus Christ, if the Devil can engage you in stupid, waste-of-time arguments, debates, pointless television shows, godless films, endless Internet conspiracy theories (don’t get me wrong – men conspire to do evil all the time – Jesus told us that very clearly) and so on and so on and so on – and on and on it goes! Beware of wasting your most precious gift – time! Facebook connects you alright – but to all the wrong people.
Facebook has the power to connect us – to all the wrong people and things
God wanted us to be firmly connected to, and thus serve and care for practically (not just say a prayer for now and again) those immediately around us – our family, close friends, neighbours and community – not have a hundred pseudo ‘relationships’ with people we have no real means to real care for other than with lip-service that live 8000 miles away.
I believe Facebook serves to fantastic tool to break down the relationships that matter, and causes us to start and focus on relationships that don’t matter, at the expense of those that should really matter to us in the illusion that we are making real, meaningful relationships.
I love God, Christ, The Bible. art, painting, playing music, improvising music, guitar (first instrument), drumming (not very good at it:), and anything musical or art related.
