People used to make sensible discriminatory decisions all day every day. They used to discriminate between what they felt was bad, and what they felt was good for their and others’ sake. An example – if I choose to eat more vegetables than red meat because it’s now proved beyond reasonable doubt by scientists that those that eat large amounts of red meat are far less likely to develop cancer – in other words I’m looking after the temple that God gave me that He wishes to dwell in – then I am discriminating between eating good food and bad food. Is that wrong? No. I’m making a discriminatory decision that as far as I know is right – just what the word discrimination always meant – to make a good decision between what is good and bad – it’s right discrimination.
But not any more. Now the word has been hijacked and had it’s meaning changed so that ‘discrimination’ is now bad by default. These days – ALL discrimination is bad – just like we are told all borders are bad… despite the fact that every cell in the human body has a wall around it to protect it from incoming and outgoing invaders, with a thousand checks and balances to ensure the same. Just like every school, home and business has a wall round it to protect those in and out. But no – all borders are now officially bad. If so, then please Mr Politician remove the walls around your office and see how long things go well. But of course the people that push the ‘no borders’ idea love borders in reality. They have them all over the place in their own lives so they can not be challenged – but just want them for anyone else.
But have you noticed that anyone now can be fined or incarcerated even for simply ‘discriminating’ – as if all discrimination is always bad – period? Just the like word ‘hate’ has now been hijacked and is now always bad, and can be used against anyone that disagrees with your world view – when the fact is we all hate every day – including the judges and justices – they do it too – hopefully making the right choices! We all rightfully hate hypocrisy, injustice, hate for hate’s sake, cancer, necessary borders, death and anything else horrible.
I particularly hate the hijacking of words having their meanings changed or forgotten to be used against us whenever deemed necessary. So of course there is wrong discrimination and right discrimination – wrong hate and right hate. But there is not good evil and evil good. Even God hates what is evil, and it’s time we took back our words and used them in their original right context and meaning.
