I’ll come clean – I took that heading from the silly government and big-business sponsored leaflet that miraculously dropped through my door this morning, as if I’m some ignorant fool who needs to have it explained to me just how great the EU really is and how much they care about its. Are they nuts?
OK, here are the facts we really need to know. We – as one of the more prosperous nations in the EU – cannot ever hope to be ‘better off’ (financially or otherwise) by joining or being one with a socialist system. Why? Because socialism by its very nature means TAKING from the wealthier and giving to the poorer – in this case not individuls but nations – which all sounds great doesn’t it – except taking in this way is not Biblical or Godly (see the article at the bottom of this page for why, except to say there is a big difference between taking and giving freely).
So anyone or any politician that says we will be better off in the European Union – is either lying through their teeth, or was born yesterday and does not understand that the EU is a socialist form of government and what that really means in the real, not ideal world.
Whether one thinks socialism is right or wrong (that’s not the point in this article) we cannot, and will never be better off longterm in the EU because it is socialist (unless of course we joined as one of the poorer nations or become poor later – in which case money might flow from the richer nations to us – emphasis on might!).
They can dress it up with talk of ‘jobs’ and ‘business’, but if we join the EU as a wealthier nation, money will only ever flow away from us. Of course, if they mean we will be worse off outside because the EU will then make trading with us difficult and apply ‘sanctions’, you may have a point – and in fact this is exactly what they will do – because they are not nice. So forget the monetary implications, as Christians, who would want to be joined with such a manipulative and scheming entity in the first place?
And by the way – as an aside but very eye-opening issue, why would anyone want to be joined with an organisation whose headquarters are designed specifically to look like The Tower of Babel, and where outside it, is a woman is riding a beast straight from Revelations in The Holy Bible? Who do they think they are? Are they mocking God? This is not fiction or conspiracy on my part – this is what they have done – please look it up for yourself.
Serving two masters? It’s not possible
In any case the fact is, no one – or no entity, can never be slave to two masters – The Bible tells us so, so why do the British think they can have one foot in and one out and still be masters of our own economy and laws? Because the spin doctors of those with interests in big business in the EU tell us so.
So being in or out of the EU should not be decided (by Christians) on its financial merit – how rich or poor we will become, but a moral and Biblical one, as the EU leaders are for the most part not believers – at least they do not believe what or as we do. The EU is OK with unelected leaders and it supports many unbiblical socialist ideals.
