Simple. Pretend that borders cannot be easily enforced and break down and dissolve all country borders and allow all peoples throughout the world to travel anywhere, any time, for any reason without checks creating mayhem and insecurity everywhere. This would result in the people calling for a global ID system – something that would never be accepted if it were foisted upon them by the government.
So should this lack of control of the borders all around the world concern us? Well seeing as this is actually happening before our very eyes, and keeping in mind that man can do anything he puts his mind to, including putting a man on the moon, seeing every flee on the planet from space, building a skyscraper two miles into the sky and 10,000 other ‘impossible’ feats – yet we cannot control a single border – and despite the continuous and passionate talk by politicians globally of wanting to do so, it would seem then from the total lack of action to back up these words, that we do not in fact want to control the borders. So the question then, is why?
