I felt physically ill and felt a huge dark cloud approaching when Obama was elected as I could see he had masterfully hood-winked the masses with his cool, all things to all people persona – nothing to do with his colour but all about his words and distain for The Bible and Christian things and support for all things liberal (no one got taken in by his claim to be Christian did they?) – a word the King James Bible actually uses and actually associates with well, things that are not pleasing to God – go read it if you don’t believe me – I was surprised the word was actually in there.
But wow – today I am so excited after seeing Rand Paul’s announcement. Obviously he like the rest of us will not be a saint but he is tough – has principles and seems to talk from only one side of his mouth – a rarity these days as all but a tiny handful of politicians that once took this characteristic as a necessity for office are all but extinct.
The question is, is it too late?.. are there enough real Christians left in America to actually vote this guy in? Only time will tell. Mike Huckabee (just that name is cool) or Rand Paul I don’t care – just give us back our principles and thwart the long overdue judgement that is otherwise coming to the once and potentially still great – even with all her terrible faults and deeds – America.
