I did say this site was not politically correct and I’ve no time to mince words in this late hour. Facebook is almost as bad as Twitter – perhaps marginally better as you can have some kind of semi-meaningful conversation on it, but Twitter is… well… apart from the fact that ‘news’ can be instantly fired around the globe (which I have no faith actually helps humanity in the end and just creates more mayhem and advertisements for workers of iniquity) utterly useless.
Once It Was Frowned Upon to Be a Follower!
I never cease to be amazed at how the Devil caused the super-aptly named site; Twit-ster to get it’s name. Twitter is the site where people get to talk the most inane shallow nonsense I thought was not even possible – and not only that, you can get ‘followed’ doing it!
Once upon a time, a ‘follower’ of trends and people of note was seen as a weak person (follower of Christ withstanding) for good reason. Christ was his own man and followed no one – he was NO respecter of persons,let alone moronic celebs and so-called clever and talented people in society. I thanks God every day that He opened my eyes to this nonsense that is incessant gossip, self promoting aggrandisement. slander, back-stabbing and just all-round badness.
Twitter is full of pretenders and nonsense – people who want to be heard above the noise – the nonsense that the web is filled with to fill it with even more junk. It’s like a giant trap where celebrities not satisfied with being paid ridiculous amounts of money to do silly and unreal things like kicking an inflated bladder around a grassy field are forced if they like it or not to produce a daily or at least weekly ‘tweet’ about some item in the ‘news’.
I cannot wait till we get to heaven and all this nonsense and so-called advances in ‘technology’ is swept in the bin and showed up for what it is by God’s heavenly technology which we can glimpse in this fallen yet still incredible creation.
I love God, Christ, The Bible. art, painting, playing music, improvising music, guitar (first instrument), drumming (not very good at it:), and anything musical or art related.
