Fact or Fiction

Is The World Really Overpopulated?

I won’t say yes or no – apart from the fact I am not a scientist or a number junkie, you need as always to study and make your own mind up as The Bible commands. But here’s some thoughts on this issue.

When I was growing up I would always hear this ‘over population’ thing being banded about everywhere, and in my small child-like brain (I was a child) I would see the vast empty plains and uninhabited deserts and totally untouched parts of the earth on natural history programs and think; hang on – there is so much room it’s ridiculous, surely if we all stand side by side we will only take up a patch the size of my city? But the ‘earths too small’ crowd keep pumping out this message and still do. But something’s wrong isn’t it?

See that tiny black mar on the left?.. everyone in the world can fit in Texas and have their own backyard!

See that tiny black mark on the left in southern America? Yup… every family in the world can have their own house and fit pretty nicely in Texas with their own backyard!

It was later that in my teens, knowing instinctively with my male spacial awareness that the world actually was definitely not too small for all the people on earth even if they multiplied many times over, I did a little research and discovered that you can fit every person on the planet shoulder-to-shoulder on two land masses the size of The Isle of Wight (to people outside the UK that’s a very small island that sits at the bottom of England).

This was a surprise only in the sense that I couldn’t believe that the clever people were still trotting this out to the masses and the masses actually believed – and still believe (just ask someone) that they are talking about space – you know – area versus humans!  Of course when you press the clever people on it they will tell you what they really mean; that the earth cannot sustain our current level of greediness. That sounds more like it!

So let’s rephrase this disingenuous thing we keep hearing to what it really means;

The world is huge, people only take up a small amount of space on it, the problem is we are all over-eating, over-buying, over-indulging, not disposing of the resulting huge excess of waste properly and if there re any more of us we won’t be able to go on enjoying our current levels of excess and greed.

So now I know that this; ‘world is too small’ thing is just a mantra dreamed up by the rich people on this earth who can’t comprehend giving up their lifestyles of excess – for the goyim (useful idiots or the uneducated ‘idiot’ masses as they like to refer to idiots – that’s me and you to them).

In other words; “tell them that earth’s too small and we are all going to die and that way, we can legislate all sorts of rules and regulations on them, and we – the enlightened ones who need our ranches, living space and lifestyles in order to continue looking after them – can continue on in our own excess. Of course they will say that it is we – the useful idiots that would never give up our lifestyles and there may be some truth in that. But why not try us instead of keep spinning the half-truth that the world is too small! It’s the same in the pharmaceutical $$$ industry who constantly tell us there is something wrong with the body so we need hundreds of pills to ‘correct’ the problems. Baloney – God doesn’t make mistakes.

What’s The Truth?

Well the truth as always is not quite what it seems, and definitely not what they tell us (most of the time – there are some good people out there!). The truth is as far as I can tell, is that the earth is not too small for us by any stretch of the imagination (and believe me scientists have great imaginations when it comes to getting this and laws passed and money coming in for their important ‘research’ projects).

However, if we all live they way we do, ravaging the the world’s natural resources without a cace in the world, allowing large groups to starve when there is plenty of food to go round, not planting trees where necessary, consuming too much crap, owning 3 cars, 2 houses, 5 TVs, 3 phones, 2 washing machines, having exotic 4 holidays a year, being unbelievably greedy, then yes perhaps – I mean perhaps the world is a bit too small and something will have to give.
