I put this article in the ‘Entertainment’ category grudgingly as Netflix apart from the classic films and a few documentaries appears to me a stream of never ending nonsense. OK – that title – Why is Netflix failing? was a little bit of clickbait – because I don’t know for sure that NETFLIX is failing. It’s just that I like everyone else, has seen this claim banded about the web – and we’ve seen ‘admissions’ that say the great falling away is because of the easing of lockdowns (in that case Netflix don’t have a worry in teh world as they will soon all be back under a new virus, climate change or some other emergency).
The REAL reason NETFLIX could fail..
In fact it’s the same reason that leftists always fail – because they are generally arrogant and a bit stupid (same thing really). Stupid because they never take into account that all the people they shamed into the closet to not want to speak up and openly about what they really believe – not because they are weak-minded like the average leftist (I thought ‘left’ and ‘right’ political labels were stupid divisive since I was about 10 – that’s 1981!) but because because they want a life – are there waiting to vote with their wallets (ie unsubscribe) as soon as they get really pissed with the stupid and politically correct crappy content they put out.
It used to be called shooting yourself in the foot..
Not sure what I mean? Well remember when the lefties in Britain were all shocked when Brexit happened and running about like headless chickens – a recurring theme (yet again because they’d shamed all the Brexiteers who knew full well the EU was corrupt to the core) and all those older and wiser folks who knew the true nature of these self-appointed rulers in Brussels came out of the woodwork to vote. Well that was what really happened and we all knew it was going to happen for that very reason and said so ahead of time amongst ourselves.
Still don’t know what I mean? Well think of the leftist shock (voters and all the media) Hilary Clinton failure to beat Trump (love him or hate him – this is not the point – and 101 does NOT love him much, and we like her less). After the election we (who like to conserve all that is good) all knew was going to go the way it did – once again because the daft lefties had shamed all the Trump supporters (most of whom we’re voting simply to block the even more corrupt HC) into not speaking about their preferred candidate unless they were amongst like-minded folks (the left of course whine like babies to everyone and their mother predictably without any discretion at all like children).
Once again – I for one predicted right after his election – that the ‘left’s’ (rich corporations and politicians aren’t really left themselves like the pawns hey manipulate are they?) obvious miscalculation (according to a Hilary Clinton supporter a data scientist calculated they did try to tip the balance unnoticeably using subtle social search auto-suggestions engineering, more often than not by omission I had noticed years ago) and tweaked algorithms on search engines and social networks) Trump’s election could NEVER be allowed to happen again – enter a lot of dodgy voting tactics that had been going on for years went on steroids.
So my point is – the same is likely – and probably will happen to NETFLIX; that is – because ‘conservatives’ (I just like to call ‘mentally sane’ folks that simply try to preserve anything that is good and true and useful and edifying to mankind) often don’t voice their real opinion about something, but sit quietly and watch what these crazy people do. Then when they’ve had enough BS they will leave quietly and do it damningly with a silent exodus, as I have done with my feet and wallet when some company run by a disingenuous CEO pretending to be left to ingratiate him or herself with their subscribers starts ramming some ideology down my throat, making the stupid assumption because they can’t actually hear any vocal dissension (usually because they themselves stifled it or made it illegal or some other equally self-defeating action – just like assuming air does no exist because you can’t see it) they are supported on all sides, when in reality they are not. Then the chickens will suddenly come home to roost.
And let’s not forget – the people at the very top of the power pyramid – the ones really pulling the strings are way too intelligent to get involved in any of this nonsense, and own both sides of the left and right ‘divide’ anyway – a divide they enthusiastically created. They aren’t that daft. They stay in the wings nameless thinking they are one step ahead – when in fact they are way behind God. But one day all that is hidden will be revealed and every knee will bow to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
