Why not use the Bibles perfect legal prescriptions for someone that steals your sheep – you are ordered to pay the victim back four fold! This is perfect! Not only will the victim be happy and the community at large seeing justice exacted – the perpetrator – someone bent on obtaining material things, will think VERY VERY carefully next time they want to steal.
But the best part is this; this fixes the totally unjust fact that the state gets paid the fine for breaking the law when it should go to the person or entity that had them self or their property violated that gets the money. Bible’s justice = perfect justice!
